Wolf’s Life
Wolf’s Life is a narrative that shifts the perspective from the imaginary “big bad wolf” to the real wolf, revealing the complexity of its life, its role in the ecosystem, and the conditions that make its survival a constant balance.
The Municipality of Vinhais invited TOYNO to develop an exhibition dedicated to the Iberian wolf, with the aim of rethinking how this animal is perceived and understood.
The project was grounded in in-depth research, including interviews with specialists, visits to the Iberian Wolf Recovery Centre, field observation, analysis of exhibition references, and scientific research. From this process, a scientifically informed and accessible narrative was constructed.
The exhibition is organized as a journey that connects biology, behavior, ecosystem, and conservation, combining informative content with interactive modules that help dismantle myths, clarify the impact of human action, and reinforce the importance of natural balance.
The experience invites reflection and action, highlighting what is being done to protect the Iberian wolf and the role each visitor can play in its conservation.
