Integrated into the Money Museum’s visitor route, the Financial Education Center extends the exhibition dedicated to money and the role of the Bank of Portugal, creating a space where content is explored through active participation.
TOYNO built on the concept developed for the main exhibition, money as a “familiar stranger,” transforming abstract themes of the financial system into educational activities accessible to different age groups.
The process involved designing learning dynamics that alternate between small-group work, where participants create and test ideas, and collective discussion moments, where these choices are shared and compared with real data. At the same time, the space itself was conceived as an active part of the experience, adaptable to different activity formats.
