This project was born from an invitation by the Pharmacy Museum to create a traveling exhibition about the life and work of Odette Ferreira, highlighting her pioneering role in HIV-2 research and her commitment to fighting the stigma associated with the virus.
The process was developed in close collaboration with the Museum team, as well as Professor Odette Ferreira’s family and friends. Through joint workshops, we defined the concept and narrative of the exhibition, designed interactive modules that encourage reflection, and created the visual identity and communication materials.
The exhibition, presented at the Pharmacy Museums in Porto, Coimbra, and Lisbon, took shape as an immersive experience that seeks to convey the marginalization experienced, and still experienced, by people living with HIV-2, inviting empathy, knowledge, and the dismantling of prejudice.
