The Municipality of Loulé invited us to design a temporary and traveling exhibition for the Salir Tourist Office, dedicated to the geological history of the region.
We began at the origin, with the formation of Pangaea and the collision of continents, traveling to an environment around 230 million years ago. The journey introduces visitors to the natural context of the time, explains the fossilization process, and highlights climate changes since the beginning of the Jurassic period.
To shape the exhibition, we held workshops with the Municipality of Loulé team and conducted interviews with specialists. Based on this work, we defined the concept and narrative, designed the environments and exhibition equipment, and created sensory experiences that transport visitors on a journey through time.
The proposal materialized as a time capsule: an immersive experience that makes local geological history visible and accessible, inviting visitors to discover, experiment, and learn.
