We developed the proposal for the University of Lisbon’s Co-Creation Center based on the concepts of the international Design Factory network, following the model advocated by Aalto University.
The challenge was to transform a currently unused space into a dynamic environment for co-creation, collaboration, innovation, and entrepreneurship, fully integrated into the university ecosystem. The challenge was to transform a currently unused space into a dynamic environment for co-creation, collaboration, innovation, and entrepreneurship, fully integrated into the university ecosystem.
To frame the project within Lisbon’s innovation ecosystem, we conducted interviews and exploratory analyses to understand the real needs of the academic community.
As a central step in the process, we organized a co-creation workshop that brought together around 80 participants, including leadership, faculty, staff, and students from different fields.
This collective moment made it possible to collaboratively build a model tailored to the reality of the University of Lisbon, ensuring that the future Co-Creation Center effectively responds to the expectations and ambitions of its community.
Project developed in partnership with With Company.
